Conditions

Last updated 13 September 2026

Somewhere is run by Voff Digital LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Using it means agreeing to what follows. It is short on purpose.

You must be 18

No exceptions. If we find an account belongs to someone under 18 we remove it and everything attached to it.

One line at a time

Everyone gets one standing line. Not two, not ten. It is the reason the board cannot be flooded, and there is nothing you can buy that changes it.

To answer someone you need a line of your own. That is deliberate: it means anyone who writes to you can be written to in turn.

What you may not post

Submissions are screened automatically before publication. A refusal is not a judgement of you — edit the line and put it up again.

What you write stays yours

You keep ownership of your line. By posting it you give us permission to publish it on the board and, only if you ticked the box, on our Instagram — always without your name, photo or contact details. Take the line down and that permission ends.

Reports and removals

Anyone can report a line. Two independent reports hide it automatically while a person looks. We aim to review reports within 72 hours.

We may remove a line or an account that breaks these terms. We will not always explain why, because explaining a removal in detail teaches people how to work around it. You can appeal by email and a person will read it.

Who wrote what

Lines and answers are written by the people who post them, not by us. We host them. We screen submissions automatically and remove what breaks these terms, but doing that does not make us the author of anything, and it does not mean we have read every line.

Meeting people is your decision

Somewhere introduces people. It does not vet them. We do not run background checks and we do not verify that anyone is who they say they are. Use ordinary judgement: meet in public the first time, tell someone where you are going, and leave whenever you want.

What we don't promise

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that anyone will answer your line, or that a person you meet will be who you hoped. To the extent the law allows, Voff Digital LLC is not liable for what happens between people who meet through Somewhere.

Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be waived under applicable law, including the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, from the app or by emailing us. It takes your lines, your answers and your profile with it.

We may close an account that repeatedly breaks these terms, or that is used to harm someone.

Which law applies

The laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Florida, and we both agree to that.

Small claims are the exception: you can always bring one wherever you live, and we will not try to move it.
